FRESCOES BY THE BAY: BOOK I

Frescoes by the Bay: Book I  documents the paintings in the Northwestern part of San Francisco that were completed between 1931 and 1935. 

Both volumes provide a chronological history of mural painting from 15,000 BCE to the revival in Mexico and the United States during the 20th century. The narrative intertwines the techniques used with the contents of each mural and the lives and personal challenges faced by the artists.
